Welcome to Shubacoons

We're an in-home Maine Coon cattery located in Binghamton, NY, in the Southern Tier. We’re right at the crossroads of I-81 and I-86, an easy drive from many areas in the Northeast.

We've been raising these
beautiful cats
for over 25 years.

Health & Temperament

Our priority is our cats’ health and temperament, so our kittens are as healthy and happy as possible.

All our breeding cats are negative for:
HCM — Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Gene, MYBPC3
PK — Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency
SMA — Spinal Muscular Atrophy

They also receive an annual echocardiogram from a board-certified cardiologist to ensure they are producing healthy kittens.

Our cats are never caged, with each male having his own room overlooking the pool and the city.

Raised Underfoot

Our kittens are born in our bedroom and stay with us from their first moments, growing up underfoot, surrounded by love, activity, and early socialization that helps them become confident, affectionate companions.

They have the run of the house until the day they leave for their new homes, fully prepared for life as a cherished family member.

We're focusing on our silver program, but also have browns, reds, and cameos, with and without white.
